Collection Conditions and Sorting impact on speed

I would like to ensure my collections are loading as quickly as possible. I could define my collections by multiple conditions (product type / product tag / variant title) Does anyone if certain conditions are better to use than others due to speed? Or not using conditions but adding manually?

Is manual sorting faster or slower than sorting by best selling / title / etc?

Hope I understand this correctly.

The way your collection products ar assigned in Shopify does not have an importance in the network load performance.
