The problem I am having is after adding new products to a new collection, they aren’t listed.
The collection in question is Freebies. Even after creating the collection, adding the proper tags, they don’t appear on the actual storefront page.
I’m not sure where I went wrong! When I look at the collection page in the admin, all the products are listed as they should be, when I click the eyeball to view directly from the collection page in the admin, it works… but the eyeball from the Online Store header on the left side it doesn’t.

edited to add: the items show up in other collections as they should. eg: a sticker page that shows up on the sticker collection page but not the freebie collection page.

To gather some more context, have you added the new collection to your navigation settings? Once you create your collection, you will need to add it to your navigation settings for it to appear on your storefront. Since your collection is already created, I suggest to ensure that you have linked the correct collection. To do so, you can follow these steps here:
On the Navigation page, click the title of the menu that you want to edit.
Click Add menu item.
Enter a name for the menu item. The name displays in the menu and can include special characters or characters or emoji.
Click the Link field, and then select the link type (in this case, collections).
Once you have selected a collection or all collections, then you can filter the collection with tags to display only the products that match all of the tags you enter.
Once you select your link type, then select a specific destination.
When you select “Home”, the destination is automatically set to your online store’s home page.
Click Add to save your menu item.
Click Save menu.

In this spot, you’ll also see the option to filter the collection by tags. Make sure any tags you add here match up with the tags you have on your products that you want to see. If the product tag does not match what is typed here it won’t appear on the storefront. If you leave this area blank all the products in the collection should be linked. Another possibility is that your products aren’t set to be available in the Online Store. You can check that within the product pages here:
