Collection pagination cannonicals

Hello, i have collections with a lot of pages, the first one (collection/name) is the one wich have the best content, the rest of pages contáins diferent products.

I noticed Google is indexing pages, ex: Tshirts -page 24.

Would not be better to only have indexed Tshirts main Page?

Is this considered duplicated content? As the only diference are product names.

Does shopify take care of the cannonicals? Or Should i included a cannonicals tag in head section? Thanks in advance

Thank you, thats what i thought. The best course of actions in your opinion would be making canonical only main page or making the rest noindex too? Much apreciated

When each page is different how could it be duplicate content.

Unless you’ve received specialist recommendation on you specific usecase on some aspect of SEO leave it alone.

This is a common misunderstanding of trying to overthink SEO without the proper experience to interpret what tools/docs may be claiming.

Solved by, researching the question on google itself, or all the previous community posts on the topic.

Or consulting a SEO specialist before damaging a businesses rankings.

Careful of being told what you want to hear without actually scrutinizing what is being said is actually vague jargon.

Thank you for your reply.

Thanks for the aclaration, not a duplication then.

But when searching on Google that collection keywords, the result gives 2 urls, the main collection page, and a random Page like 25…

is not that losing or diluting the link juice ?

Or thats what all seo content says, let me know if im messing Up concepts.
