Color swatch colors not transferring when I change my website to English.

Hi guys,

I just purchased a FUEL THEME (Reformation). I really love it at the moment, but I noticed that once I am on my website and that I change the language from French to English, the color swatch colors won’t appear, except the black and some other basic colors.

Does anyone know what I would need to do to make it work?

I am using the shopify translate & adapt app, and I also tried to manually edit the translation, but it still doesn’t work.

I just tried it out, they display after translating for me when using chromes translate. When I use the sites translator, it doesn’t work. Is there an option to manually input colors?

Hi, thank you for your response, yes, I there is a place to manually input the colors and I did and I also made sure to properly translate them..

Hmm this is a strange one, are you able to get support from the theme developers?

I wrote twice and the response are not helpful at all..

Hi,

I know this thread is a little old, but did you find a solution? I’m having a similar issue. It was working and suddenly on the French side of our site, the colour swatches no longer work. Everything is translated properly, but most of the swatches don’t show colour. The ones that do show “default” versions of those colours (i.e. classic blue vs. the blue we programmed in).

I’ve reached out to our theme creator for assistance too.
