Before I switch to a new theme, I want to know if there is flexibility with product info layout.

What if I don’t want to include dimensions, materials, or care instructions?
Can I remove these easily? or will i need to code?

P.S. I HATE CODING. I wish I didn’t have to code for shopify. It is not easy for those who don’t know how. It makes designing things very difficult.

@ScentFluence - you can remove unwanted things from customize settings even after you choose any theme, or we can use CSS to hide unwanted things on the page.

Hi @ScentFluence

You’re definitely able to remove or hide these sections without editing your theme coding. The instructions below will walk you step by step through how to do this:

  • From Online Store > Theme > Customize
  • Within the dropdown list at the top center, select Product > Default Product.
  • Scroll down to Product Information and click on the small arrow to display all blocks.
  • You’ll want to click on any collapsible tab you want to remove > Click Remove Block.

  • If you don’t want to remove them, there is an option to hide them by clicking on the eye icon next to each collapsible tab.

Thanks this is incredibly helpful to know.

I didn’t want to transition to a new theme only to find I would need to do too much coding.
