Contact form emails going to Sender Email

I have a contact form in my store and the emails are going to the Sender Email, under notifications. How can I configure the settings for the emails to go to my store email, or another email entirely?

To configure the settings for the emails from your contact form to be sent to a different email address in your Shopify store, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin.
  2. From your Shopify admin dashboard, click on “Settings” in the lower-left corner and select “Notifications” from the dropdown menu.
  3. In the “Notifications” section, you’ll see a list of different types of notifications. Locate the “Contact form” section, which represents the email notifications sent when a customer submits the contact form.
  4. Click on the “Contact form” section to expand its settings.
  5. In the “Recipient Email” field, you can enter the email address where you want to receive the contact form submissions. You can enter an existing email associated with your store or any other valid email address.
  6. Optionally, you can customize the subject line of the email in the “Subject” field. By default, it will be set as “[store-name] - Contact form submission.”
  7. Save your changes.

Once you have entered the desired email address and saved the settings, the contact form submissions will be sent to the specified email address.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, under the ‘Notifications’ tab, there are no fields for the contact form or anywhere that specifies the receiving email for the forms.
