I have a single Shopify store and I wanted to know if I could multiple creators have their own collections on my site that they could manage themselves. Checkout would be through the main site checkout.
I see on other platforms there is the ability to create your own “store” on their platform, allowing multiple individuals to create their collections for sale…

Shopify has no multi tenant features.
You will need to search the app store for “marketplace” “multi vendor” and other similar terms to find apps that might enable the set of features you need.
The fast cheap alternative is to just use a online spreadsheet tool give each creator a standalone spreadsheet they can edit that you review then use to import product data as CSVs.
