Customization

Topic summary

Problem: Customizations added to the product page for a main item (A) are also appearing on an accessory’s page (B), such as usage instructions showing below both Buy buttons. The goal is to keep product-specific content separate per page.

Suggested solution: Create a separate product template for the second product, customize that template independently, and assign it to product B. This lets each product page display its own content without cross-over. In Shopify, templates control layout/content per product, so duplicating and assigning templates isolates changes.

Resources: A step-by-step video tutorial (MP4 link provided) demonstrates creating and assigning a separate template. Assistance to implement code changes was offered if needed.

Status: The original poster responded with thanks. No explicit confirmation of resolution, but the guidance appears accepted; no further issues raised.

So I have 2 products on my store. My main product is A and product B is just an accessory for product A. Now when I add customizations to the page displaying the product A, the customizations apply to the page containing product B as well. Like, i keep some instructions on how to use the product A after the buy button. When i open the page with product B it shows me the instructions i wrote for product A below its buy button. How to solve this? How to separate the customizations for the different products in different pages

**Hey @Sculpt_Pro **### You can create a seperate template, and customize this second one seperately and then assign this template to product 2### ### I have prepared a video watch this### watch this video### If you are unable to implement the same then I’m happy to do this for you, let me know. I can implement the code changes so that this will work well for you.### ### Hopefully, it will help you. If yes then Please don’t forget to hit Like and Mark it as the solution!
