Dashboard menu issue

Hi,

I don’t know why my dashboard area is always stretched to the entire screen and not fixed.

Take an example of my Products and Pages dashboard:

It’s really annoying me and cause me to always switch to mobile view on my browser.

It’s happen in Chrome and Edge.

I’m unable to replicate this issue, so that suggests that it’s a local issue, likely tied to your browser or device settings. I noticed that you mentioned that this happens in both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome - thank you for testing in multiple browsers!

I have some additional local troubleshooting suggestions for you to try. Please let me know if these end up helping in clearing up the issue at all:

  • Can you try viewing your admin from an ‘incognito’ window (Chrome) or a private viewing tab (Edge) to see if you’re still able to replicate this issue?
  • Can you try a third internet browser (such as Safari or Firefox) and see if this issue persists?
  • Do you experience this issue when logging into your admin from different devices?

Follow up with us here when you can after testing with those suggestions!

In incognito mode it works perfect.

I have seen reports of this happen due to browser extensions, specifically ones that search Shopify theme files for code. In incognito mode, browser extensions are disabled until manually enabled, so I recommend disabling your browser extensions to see if that resolves the issue.

Disable every browser extension, especially any adblockers, or userstyle/userscript extensions and retest with a clean cache.

Alternatively reverse this process and enable extensions 1 by 1 to work in incognito and retest to find the common cause.

You were right!

I removed the extension of the search files for code and now it’s perfect.
