DAWN 2.0 Separate Image for Mobile and Desktop on Image Banner

I have implemented this code into “section-image-banner.css” to my DAWN 2.0 theme to separate the Mobile and Desktop image banner.

Problem is, this results in a poor image quality for the desktop banner.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
