Hi,
The site is working well and in reality the site isn’t that slow but my store speed score went from 30 to 17 in one week.
I didn’t make any major changes and I took care of cleaning unnecessary stuff.
What I need to do?

Hi @Ell_Soll
Could you share your store link to check?

Hi @Ell_Soll
I’m Garcia, a CRO expert from PageFly - Advanced Page Builder app,the use of the pink tone theme on your site, along with the clean and intuitive design. It creates a user-friendly experience and makes it easy for customers to navigate and understand. However, I have some suggestions to help you optimize your homepage and improve your site speed:
One easy way to help your site load smoothly is to chop down unnecessarily large images, usually in the form of reducing resolutions and dimensions. There are lots of image optimizers available, but I recommend running your images through Photoshop’s Save for Web feature before uploading them onto your website.
This will help reduce your images’ file size, while keeping the highest quality possible.
This essentially means removing whitespace, code comments and semicolons in any of your added CSS and JavaScript files, so that your live website takes up less bandwidth and loads faster since it doesn’t have to understand excess lines in your CSS/JS files.
Caching means storing copies of files in a cache so that the server can access the cached content later quickly when it delivers the web page to your customers’ browsers. You can try caching your website by using available Shopify-integrable apps like Hyperspeed and Loadify.
After running your site through PageSpeed, I see a slight improvement, yet more can still be done to have your site load even faster. Best look for the Opportunities section to see what you can do further.
Hope I have brought a handful of effective practices to get your site going better. While at it, I saw that your store looked really nice and would like to offer you some improvements to your Home page, too:
You can try to increase the banner size to full size (expand to the red box below), replace the abstract background with a clear, high-quality image of your products, and adjust the text accordingly.
Here’s a good example for it:
Separate your CTA buttons from the image and add a small animation to them (like Shrink) to make them more dynamic and lively.
Descriptions that help highlight your products’ features are great, though in this case it would be better to separate them from the images and put them below, so that your customers can get a full view of what they’re purchasing.
If your products have received great reviews from customers, highlight them by adding a Testimonial/Customer Reviews section on your Home page.
It sets your product apart from competitors by showcasing what makes it unique and superior. The information can be discount campaign or unique selling point of your products such as does it made by eco-friendly materials, or how you pack your products …
Black Friday, Cyber Monday are just around the corner. Update your store’s text, images, graphics, deals,… to make them holiday-themed and have your customers feel festive.
Hopefully all these suggestions that I’ve put together will help your page out. Wishing you a fantastic day and best of luck on your store-building journey!
Cheers,
Garcia | PageFly Team
