Debut theme setting my iframe to display:none

Hi there

Something is driving me crazy!

Whenever I add a section that has a YouTybe video embed it sets the iframe to display:none and I have no clue why this is been done!

Does anyone have any insight into this?

Thanks

Hi @toploadr ,

Sorry that you’re facing this issue. Correct me if I understand your situation wrong, but by “embed” do you mean you used the embed code and add it by editing code of your Debut theme?

If my assumption is correct, then maybe it is failed to load because the Debut theme itself does support to add video from YouTube directly when you customize theme. So to add your video, first you need to go to your store admin > go to Themes > Click “Customize” action from your theme (not the “Edit code” action). Then, from the left panel, you can click on “Add section” and search “Video”, then click “Video” to add a new video section (see image below for instruction).

After adding video as a new section, you should add your video’s YouTube link to connect the video with YouTube directly. Then you can adjust style and settings of the video section. I’d suggest you to add the video cover image, since this video cannot auto detect the cover image of YouTube video.

Once you finish, you can click Save and check the video on your store.

Hope this advice helps you to resolve your issue.

Hi @HappyPoints

This section works perfectly. It happens when you add videos through the custom content section. I’ve added the screenshots to show how I add the videos and the resulting output:
