I have COD option for local shoppers, but I want this option to be hidden when someone is buying from any other country, and can only pay using Credit/Debit cards, is that possible? because i couldnt find any payment options related to geolocations

This is not directly possible in Shopify’s settings, you can do it by using our app Releasit Cash On Delivery that you can install for free from the Shopify App Store here: https://apps.shopify.com/cash-on-delivery-fee
After you install the app go on the Limit COD page and you will find the option to enable COD only for your local customers here:
With this option active, your COD payment method will only be visible for your local customers in your country. Customers outside your country will only see prepaid payment methods.

You can hide the COD option for customers outside your main country using the PayRules: Hide Payment Methods app. Here’s how you can do it:
- Choose “Cash on Delivery (COD)” from the “Select payment methods” field.
- In the “Countries” field, select “Hide if not found” and add your main country like Canada.
This will ensure that the COD option is hidden for customers from any other country.
