Does Shopify limit the number of email marketing subscribers we have?

Thanks for reaching out to the community!

I am not sure if there is a limit to the number of subscribers you can have for email marketing on Shopify, I even checked if there was any talk about the same in the community, but didn’t find anything relevant.

However, I found that the Shopify merchant can send up to 10,000 emails per account, and over 10,000 you get charged. You can find the details about the charge in this link - https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/promoting-marketing/create-marketing/shopify-email

Furthermore, I determined that if your subscriber list for one campaign is over 1,000, then it may take some time to deliver the emails to all the subscribers.

Additionally, the delivery system stops sending emails to the subscribers if there are a number of negative performance indicators, like:

  • High bounce rate
  • Low engagement or open rate
  • Increased number of unsubscribes or emails landing in spam box
