Hey everybody,
I’m new to Shopify so I hope my question can be answered.
I had a blog on Squarespace where is really easy to adjust the mobile view for images, text etc. without affecting the desktop view. Really just per zoom in and out without coding.
I want to switch to Shopify because we wanted to open a Webshop and the advantages of Shopify are simply superior.
For the moment I couldn’t figure out if it’s in Shopify as easy like a drag and drop to edit the mobile view without coding?
I hope there is a solution, otherwise that would be a big improvement if Shopify would add a feature like that.
Best

In Shopify’s Sections editor, you can make adjustments to the layout, content, and design elements of your store’s pages, including the mobile view. However, the extent of customization options may vary depending on your theme. Some themes provide more granular control over mobile layouts, while others have more fixed designs.
To edit the mobile view in Shopify, you can follow these steps:
-
In your Shopify admin, go to “Online Store” > “Themes”.
-
Click on the “Customize” button for the theme you are using.
-
Within the Sections editor, navigate to the section or element you want to customize for the mobile view.
-
Look for specific mobile settings or options provided by your theme. These may include options to hide or show certain elements, adjust sizes or positions, or modify the styling for mobile devices.
Hi all! I am looking to do the same in my shop. I am using the Horizon theme and am having trouble with the image looking blurry on mobile because it is stretched but it looks fine on desktop. Is there any way to use code to make it so the mobile version doesn’t stretch the image to fill a vertical frame, rather keep it the full landscape image while keeping the desktop version untouched? I’ve attached a screenshot - first image is how I want it to look without affecting the desktop layout.
