Im trying to replace the shipping price during checkout with my own calculated shipping costs which is obtained through a shopify app and a third party shipping calculator.
Is there any way to replace the price in the checkout (checkout.liquid) without requiring Shopify Plus or through the app?

All information related to the shipping prices can be edited directly through your Shopify admin and does not require the use of code. Depending on the compatibility with your apps and location, Carrier Calculated Shipping might be a great solution for you. This will allow you to display your negotiated shipping rates from that carrier to customers at checkout.
This feature is included in the Advanced Shopify and Shopify Plus plans, and can be added to any plan for a monthly fee. However, if you’re on the Shopify plan or below, and you switch from monthly to yearly billing, you can ask to get the third-party calculated shipping rates feature added for free. While im currently using a development store, my intentions is to create my own carrier for my company. However, when I try to connect carrier account, Im given only the option to manage and connect to carriers from FedEx and UPS.
As said before, im trying to create my companys’ carrier with its own third party shipping calculator thats calculated through a third party API. How would I go about linking my storefront, to my companys’ shipping calculator API to provide a custom shipping price in checkout without the need of Shopify plus.
Just another update: Ive talked to shopify support staff about getting the option for carrier calculated shipping, and was told that development stores already have the option. However there is no way to create my own carrier without requiring Shopify plus (to edit checkout.liquid in order to replace the current shipping price with my own)
Could you clarify if theres any way around this? Thank you!
