ella theme:
my first photo is squished/distorted into short/wide rectangle while other photos are fine
the photo zooms fine when hovered
it shows squished proportions of the first image only

I recommend you contact support of the theme so they can check and help you to solve the issue.
You can follow below options:

01: Update the theme to the newest version, as they have already fixed this issue and updated for the theme.
