Encourage customers to spend more to get free delivery

Hi, we’re looking to encourage customers to spend more to get free shipping. So for instance, we offer free shipping for orders of £150 or more, if someone has £125 worth of items in their basket and they go to checkout, is there a way to have a pop up notification to say “Spend £25 or more to qualify for free shipping”?

The amount field will need to be variable as this will change depending on the order size

Hey David!

You can display the Free Shipping Progress bar with dynamic values in your Cart or Checkout.

If you’re on Shopify Plus, you can display it on checkout too. But it requires access to checkout.liquid edit.

If you’re using New Checkout UI, you can’t modify your checkout.liquid unless you use some apps.

You can use a free shipping bar along with an upselling section on the checkout to achieve that. It’s easy to implement using Checkout Wiz. Try it out and let me know if you need any further help.
