I exported our products but I want the weight of each product to also be exported. Only the weight unit (in lbs) is exported. How do I get the actual product weight to export.

To make sure I understand the situation, when you export your Product CSV it is only stating lbs but not the specific weight, is that correct?
If so, can you kindly provide a screenshot of how the CSV is displaying the unit, as well as the associated product in your Shopify admin with the weight listed? While this won’t provide a specific solution, it will allow us to double-check that everything was listed correctly.
If your weights are listed correctly in your admin but are still not being exported to your CSV our technical team will want to investigate this further. Please visit our Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request through live chat, email, or callback. Once you have logged in to your account, type your request in 'Ask about a topic, scroll down to ‘Get Support’, and then click ‘Continue.’
In the meantime, I’d love it if you could provide your store’s URL so I can take a look and see what additional feedback I can provide!

The weights are exporting over, only in grams not in lbs.

Have you checked that your products are all listed in lbs in your admin? Please see the attached image for reference.
If so, and the products are still exporting in grams only, please reach out to our live support team who can work with our technical team to resolve this for you.
