I’m battling with Facebook pixel here, hope anyone could help with problem I have.
I’ve started with Shopify’s standard pixel implementation but the pixel didn’t get installed on my store properly for some reasons, so I’ve manually installed Facebook pixel (I copied the code EXACTLY and pasted it into theme.liquid) to my Shopify store, it worked for about 10 mins
(Used Facebook “Event Manager” to track test events, and it all worked perfectly fine)
But after a while, when I used "Facebook Pixel Helper to track see if it’s still working
(and can’t track events on FB, either)
I’ve keep seeing this
“We detected event code but the pixel has not activated for this event, so no information was sent to Facebook”
Possible solutions I found online that did NOT work for me:
- Turn off Ad Blocker
- Clear browser cache
- Relog Facebook and Shopify
I’ve also tried changed themes, some settings turn on and off but it all came no result.
I’ve even tried to use new Facebook Pixel on my Shopify store, and it ended up the same way as above
(Pixel worked for about 10 mins and then stop working after a while, showing “We detected event code but the pixel has not activated for this event, so no information was sent to Facebook”
Could anyone help me with this?
