I recently got the FB pixel to work again on my site so I can add event tracking directly on my site. I was disappointed to find out that I can’t track the subscribe button on my Klaviyo pop-up sign up form. Of course I want the pixel to track people who sign up using the pop up form! I noticed that in Klaviyo I can integrate Klaviyo with FB ads but the description makes it look more like Klaviyo will draw info from FB ads. I have no idea if it will allow the FB pixel to track my Klaviyo pop up. Does anyone know if the integration solves this or what the way is to allow the FB pixel to track pop up sign ups?
Unfortunately, there isn’t a direct way to track Klaviyo pop-up sign-ups with the Facebook Pixel. The Klaviyo-Facebook Ads integration primarily focuses on using Facebook ad data to power Klaviyo campaigns, not the other way around.
However, you can explore these alternative approaches:
1- Server-Side Event Tracking:
If you have technical expertise or access to a developer, you can implement server-side event tracking. This involves setting up a server-side script that sends events to the Facebook Pixel whenever a user signs up through the Klaviyo pop-up. This method offers more precise tracking and allows you to capture additional data.
2- Third-Party Apps:
Some third-party apps might offer integrations with both Klaviyo and Facebook Pixel. These apps can help you track events and send data to the Facebook Pixel. However, it’s essential to research and choose a reliable app that aligns with your specific needs.
3- Facebook Pixel Helper Chrome Extension:
While not a direct solution, this Chrome extension can help you debug and troubleshoot your Facebook Pixel implementation. It can identify any issues with event tracking and provide insights into how the Pixel is firing on your website.
Remember to consult with a developer or a Shopify expert if you need assistance with implementing these solutions. They can provide tailored guidance and ensure that the tracking is set up correctly.
