We often have clients that call in an order or email in to us and want us to process a sale that is for pick up, delivery or shipping. It would be ideal if we could have our cashiers ring through that sale while the client is on the phone and then list that order as being for delivery, shipping, or pick up if that is the case. Then it would go into the outstanding orders, just like orders that are placed online do. Then we can easily track delivery or shipping orders that need to be taken care of in our unfulfilled list (which unfortunately still includes all the canceled and returned orders - that can be our second feature request here: enable us to remove the ‘unfulfilled’ tag on canceled and returned orders).

Every single sale type needs to be able to be completed by staff on the POS system. Please help!

I think this is a common requirement, which Shopify have not yet chosen to address (so far). You can do some of what you want within POS (mark the order as unfulfilled so that it appears in your admin unfulfilled list, mark the order for shipping to a specific customer etc) but POS has no way of indicating the order is for local delivery or local pickup, which you also need. You can’t create a manual order with these options either. It seems the only way to do this is to place the order online as if you were a customer, where the local delivery or pickup options can be selected.
There are some apps that could help (Zapiet is one), but they don’t integrate with Shopify’s native local pickup because Shopify doesn’t make that available for developers. All not very helpful.
