Fingerprint authentication stopped working

My fingerprint authentication stopped working, and I used my security keys to log in. They ran out, and I am locked out. When I realized this was happening, I opened a case with the live chat - thinking a solution would appear before I ran out of my security keys. It didn’t and I’ve been locked out of my online store for a week.

There is no urgency to resolve this on behalf of Shopify. There is no way for me to access their live chat because I am locked out.

I switched from WIX thinking that shopify was the best online store option, and I am so sorry that I switched.

There is no way to fix a problem quickly.

If there is an issue with my account, then clearly Shopify has the expertise to sort it out, and I would have expected that keeping someone’s online store open and operational would be a priority for them. There is a way to reach live chat support even if you do not have access to your Shopify store. You can go to their Account Center site then, scroll all the way down and click “Chat with us”.
