forgot to backup wordpress products for import to new shopify store...help

Topic summary

A user migrated from WordPress/WooCommerce to Shopify without first creating a product backup for import. Their Shopify store now displays on their domain instead of the original WordPress site.

Proposed Solutions:

  • Install the WooCommerce Importer app on Shopify and contact their support team for assistance
  • If WordPress files remain on the hosting server, reinstall WordPress on a temporary domain to access and export the product data

Current Status:
The user has installed the importer app but cannot access their old WordPress store since Shopify has replaced it on their URL. The issue remains unresolved, pending contact with support or implementation of the temporary domain workaround.

Hello @lxgoffxi ,

If Wordpress files are still on your hosting then we can install your old wWordpress on temporary domain and then you can connect it to Shopify and import products there.
