I appreciate you sharing this within the community and understand your concern. I know that placing an order and not receiving a product is not the greatest feeling. Rest assured, I’ll be able to provide you with best next steps in order to have this issue addressed.
Shopify is a website and shopping cart service that some merchants use to run their online store. We do not manage the shipping, sales, orders or any day to day operations of a store.
To gather a bit more context here, have you already tried contacting the store via the order confirmation email? When placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation email containing your order details. Contacting the store owner directly will be the best next steps as they’ll be able to address any information regarding the shipping or whereabouts of your order.
A second option would be to navigate to the store you’ve purchased from and locate any social media handles. I recommend reaching out to the store owner directly through these channels as they may be more closely monitored.
If you’ve exhausted all attempts to contact the store owner, and it has been over 30 days I suggest contacting your bank or payment provider. The reason I suggest this is that your bank or payment provider will be able to offer guidance on what to do next and if a refund can be issued.
If you would like to file a complaint directly to our Support Team, please navigate to this Support Contact link. Through this link you can Report an issue with a merchant or Report an issue with an order. You’ll need to enter the following information: Name, Email address and Order confirmation URL. I’ll share a screenshot below for better visibility.
We absolutely do not condone any type of fraudulent activity on Shopify. If this does happen to be a Shopify store, filing a claim with your bank will trigger a notification internally at Shopify. We can use this information to investigate a store as needed. We will take a look into the stores’ activity and take action where appropriate. For legal and privacy reasons we will not be able to share the results of this investigation with you.
