Welcome to the community, but sorry to hear you came upon a scam store.
And you discovered some red flags, like domain age. But you just placed the order and did not get your order. When you ordered, did you know from which company you were ordering? Is it a company or an individual? I just found, buried in some policy page, a residential address form for Cardif, but that could be a fake address too.
To repeat what Moeed said, just because it is a Shopify store, you do not have to trust it 100%. And for reviews, again not from Shopify. That is your understanding but that tricked you. Note: on the product page, at the top, they say “53,000+ Verified Reviews” but after in a few places 35.000+. That should be a small red flag.
It is just a random number, and there is no way you can verify that. They do not use any app or service. There are none on Trustpilot, for example.
But they look like that is not the first scam store they opened and closed; holidays are a good opportunity, as discounts do not sound fake. Plus that Shrine theme is a good one as a base. But a lot of scammers use that one as they get it for free online. If you have some time, check Warning about the seasonal scam spike
So yeah, there are a lot of scam/fake stores; you have to be careful. Shopify tries to fight that, but I think they could do more. Note: for a refund, the bank is the only option.
