Giving a discount when customer purchases a product??

I am wanting to offer $5 off a hat once someone adds a specific item to their cart. I would like the $5 to be offered on the spot and not after the original purchase is made. Is there an app that can do this? My store is groundedbrand.com

Have you considered using the “Automatic Discount” functionality in Shopify? It would be “Buy 1 Product & Get 5% On it”. Let me know!

I have not. Im not sure that would work for what I am wanting. If someone buys a hunting vest for $180 I want to offer them $5-$10 off a hat purchase. I want it to only be available if they have the vest in their cart if that makes since.
