Glitch in inventory - instock items not available for customer purchase

Greetings!

I have a situation where a product is in stock yet when a customer tries to order, they get an out of stock error message.

Has anyone else run into this and what is the solution?

Hi @KPSoap here are some general troubleshooting steps to check:

Make sure it has inventory for all relevant locations.

Make sure there is a shipping profile for that item.

For any location make sure the location Fulfillment is enabled

Inventory at this location is available for sale online."

I went back and checked what you suggested. The item with the issue was one of 4 variants of a product, all with identical shipping/location profiles (I have only 1 location for inventory). When I did a test order, I was able to add the item to my cart but the customer was not. She was able to add a other variants of the same product but not this particular one. Very odd but now I know more about where to look should this issue come up again. Thank you again!
