Google Ads Account Suspended - Circumventing System Policy Violation

Hi,
I used Google Ads for about 4 months without any problems but suddenly my account got suspended without any notifications due to Circumventing Systems Policy Violation. To be suspended due to this, I had to cheat Google but I didn’t do anything like that and now I don’t know how to solve it.

I read that we must be all clear so I prepared a text with too many details about what I made so far. According to Shopify I’ve no problem. I wrote about the keywords that include some brand names and removed them.

When I update my theme, I removed Google Tag related codes, now I added them again. But still don’t know why this happened.

I am open to any suggestions.

When I open the appealing page I see some parts to be fullfilled like billing addres, mail, etc.

But it also requires Which countries does your business serve?. Does it mean my billing address country or my target zone? Cuz I make dropshipping to sell to different countries.

And it requires some keywords of my campaigns, what kind of keywords should I write?

How should I appeal to unsuspend my account?

I am open to any kind of suggestion.

Thanks.

Hey @tegusuk ,

Account suspensions can be frustrating, but there are steps you can take to address it. Here’s a recommended approach to help you appeal and potentially unsuspend your account:

  • Fill in the required details: Start by completing all the necessary information on the appealing page, including your billing address, email, and other requested information. Be sure to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Specify the countries your business serves: When indicating the countries your business serves, it is important to list all the countries you target with your dropshipping business. Include the countries you intend to sell your products to.
  • Provide detailed information: In your appeal, explain your situation thoroughly and concisely. Mention that you have been using Google Ads without any issues for several months and emphasize that you have not violated any policies intentionally. Provide a clear description of your business model, including your dropshipping arrangement and how you comply with Google Ads policies. Reiterate your commitment to following the guidelines moving forward.
  • Explain the keyword situation: Address the issue regarding the brand names and keywords in your campaigns. State that you have rectified the situation by removing any brand names from your keywords and campaigns as instructed. Also, mention that you have reinstated the required Google Tag-related codes.
  • Show compliance: Emphasize that you have reviewed Google Ads policies thoroughly and will continue to ensure compliance with all guidelines. Mention that you value the opportunity to advertise on Google Ads and that you will make any necessary changes to resolve the issue.
  • Request clarification: Politely ask for a detailed explanation of the specific violation that led to the suspension. This will help you understand the issue better and demonstrate your willingness to address it properly.

Remember, it may take some time for Google’s team to review your appeal and make a decision. Remain patient and monitor your email inbox for any updates or requests for additional information.

@Moira Thank you. Should I remove the ad campaigns before appealing? Cuz I made some trials, I tested which campaigns, which keywords work better for a short time and stopped them but didn’t remove them? Do these inactive campaigns cause suspension?

@tegusuk ,

If you have campaigns that you have stopped and are currently inactive, it is generally not necessary to remove them before appealing. Inactive campaigns should not be the cause of your account suspension, as long as they are not in violation of any Google Ads policies.

However, if you believe that any of your inactive campaigns might have violated Google’s policies, it would be wise to remove them before submitting your appeal. By doing so, you can demonstrate your commitment to compliance and show that you have taken proactive steps to rectify any potential issues.

In your appeal, you can mention that you have stopped the campaigns you tested and clarify that you understand the importance of adhering to Google Ads policies. By addressing any past concerns and highlighting your commitment to following the guidelines moving forward, you can strengthen your appeal and increase the chances of having your account reinstated.
