My Google Merchant Center account linked with Shopify is not displaying any approved products through the free listing. I am not sure if it’s an error on Shopify or GMC’s end. I have set up free listing, it says it is active with the shipping policy and the status says active, but again I have waited a few weeks and have not seen results. I thought my problem was that under feeds it displays “Shopping ads” instead of free listing, which I have not set up. But there is no way to change shopping ads, to free listings as the destination of the feed. Even when I try to create a new primary feed, the free listing option does not show up. If anyone has any insight into this problem, please let me know if you can help.

There are a few things that could be causing this issue. First, make sure that your products are eligible for free listings. Free listings are only available for certain product types, so if your products do not meet the eligibility requirements, they will not be listed. Second, make sure that your shipping policy is set up correctly. Free listings require that you offer free shipping, so if your shipping policy is not set up correctly, your products will not be listed. Finally, make sure that you have submitted your sitemap to Google. If your sitemap is not submitted, your products will not be listed.
My solution to this was very simple. I did not have admin access, and you need admin access to get to growth > Manage programs > free listing
