Shopify products don't sync to Google Merchant

I recently installed Shopify’s Google Channel app and completed all the setup steps. Unfortunately, my products don’t seem to be pushed to Google Merchant Center. When I navigate to the Google sales channel section within Shopify, it says “0 products are available to the Google channel”. It also says I have 0 products pending, 0 products approved, and 0 products not approved. I have checked the box for “Available to Google” so they should be at least pending.

Does anyone know what might be going on here or run into similar issues?

Is your Google Merchant Center linked to your Google Shopify app?

Have you checked Google Merchant Center, under Diagnostics to see what it says?

Yes this is a common issue with the free shopping app. If you want this resolved, you need to contact Shopify support. Shopify is having issues for a while.

Alternatively, I recommend you use a tool that has advanced features such as: https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds

Yes it’s linked and everything is set up properly however the products don’t even show in Merchant Center

The setup is incomplete. You have to create a feed to pull in the products from Shopify. If you want an automated feed that ensures the latest information is sent to Google Merchant, choose the advanced option.

If you are using the free app, you need to set everything up within the Shopify app, if that does not work, that means there is a technical issue with the app itself. When you open the google sales channel app. What do you see in the setup?
