Google Search Console showing 0 pages found on sitemap after more than 2 weeks.

Topic summary

Google Search Console (GSC) is reporting conflicting sitemap and indexing data for a ~150-page site. The sitemap submitted on Dec 2 initially validated and listed products, collections, and blog posts; now GSC shows 0 discovered pages.

Within the sitemap view, only the blog sitemap appears and it returns “Couldn’t fetch,” while product and collection sitemaps no longer display. Index Coverage shows 247 pages “Not indexed” and 145 “Indexed,” which exceeds the site’s ~150 total pages. GSC also reports only 2 HTTPS URLs.

Key terms: GSC = Google’s tool for monitoring site crawling and indexing; sitemap = file listing site URLs for Google to crawl; “indexed” = pages included in Google’s search index; HTTPS = secure URL protocol.

No resolution yet. The poster is seeking explanations for the missing/failed sitemaps and the mismatch between indexing counts and actual site pages.

Hey all, I’ve been having some issues with GSC reading my site. I initially submitted my sitemap on dec. 2 and it showed success reading all my products, collections and blogs. I have around 150 pages, and it was showing them all.

Now I click into my sitemap in GSC and it said 0 discovered pages, when I click into that site map it only shows the blog sitemap and says “couldn’t fetch”. It doesn’t show my products or collections at all.

its also showing 247 pages not indexed and 145 pages indexed under pages. Again, I only have 150ish.

It is also only showing 2 HTTPS urls.

Any idea what is going on?
