Help with connecting Brother QL-1110NWB printer for shipping labels

Can anyone help with exact steps for getting the Brother QL-1110NWB label printer set up and connected to our business network so I can use it to print shipping labels through an iPad Pro?

The first step, according to Shopify’s compatible printers, for connecting to an iOS device is -

  1. Connect the label printer to the same Wi-Fi as your device.

I have tried using the Brother Printer Setting Tool and after much frustration was able to supposedly enter our shops WiFi name and password in, but the printer doesn’t show as an option when I go to print a shipping label.

Full disclosure, when I originally set this printer up (months ago) I don’t know how I did it, but it worked fine. We recently changed our WiFi name and password and now I cannot figure out how to properly change those settings for the Brother printer.

It seems like both Shopify and Brother have very vague steps for connecting this thing to the same network that your iOS device is on.

I know the Brother printer apparently has its own WiFi connection/address, but I don’t want to connect directly to the printer. I want the printer to be on the network so it will appear as an option on the print screen.

Any help is much appreciated.
