Hi All
I need some help with the filters set up, i have managed to work out how to add custom filters but now i have an issue where there are filters appearing on collections that i don’t want showing.
Can anyone help and tell me how to remove certain filters from appearing on some of the collections as some of the filters are not relevant to the collection
Thanks
Collection templates and metafields. Easiest way to show things on some but not others.

Hi,
Hope this will help
Here are the practical ways to handle it.
Option 1: Use collection conditions
Make sure products in that collection don’t have values for filters you don’t want shown.
Example- Filter: Material and Collection: “Digital Products”
If even one product in that collection has a Material value the filter will appear.
Option 2: Use different templates for specific collections
Option 3: Use product metafields carefully
Option 4: Hide filters with theme logic

Hi,
Shopify filters are global, so they are available on all collections.
To reduce this:
Only add tags and metafields to products where the filter applies
Remove unused filters from Products. Filters
Per-collection filter control requires custom theme code.
Hope my answer helps.
Thanks for all the replies they ahve been really useful
