Hiding Product Recommendations Symmetry Theme

Hello! My store uses Route Package Protection and is hidden from the site, and I am trying to keep it from appearing as a recommended product on product pages. I saw that there was a code you can use for other themes, however it was not working for Symmetry. Is there a way to hide one specific product from showing in product recommendations?
