How can I add a banner image with text to my homepage?

Good day,

I am currently using the taste theme but I would like to add an image banner with text on my homepage like the one that is on the dawn theme. I would prefer not to switch themes so I would like to know if this is possible. Thank you.

You can simply add the Image banner with text section here on the Taste theme by navigating to the Theme customizer here
