How can I add a 'coming soon' banner to my product images?

Hi I’m new to Shopify. I added t-shirt images on my page and I would like on top of the each picture to say in a square little banner coming soon for my holiday t-shirt collection. I have the app that allows us to add (coming soon) to the (add to cart button) but I don’t want that to display on the add to cart button I would like coming soon to display on the top left of the image. I’m not sure if it’s a app or how to do it. I see a lot of websites having coming soon on there actual product images I would really like to know how to make it for my website to complete the setup. Can someone plz help. :sob:

Thanks for posting to the Shopify Community, and congrats on joining the platform!

There are a few options you can use to achieve the ‘Coming Soon’ badge on your images. The first, would be to use a platform like canva.com to add the customization over your images. You will essentially upload your images, add the badge to match your branding, and then export and re-upload to your store. This is a bit more work, but allows you a lot more customization in order to match your store’s branding. Another positive is the service is absolutely free.

Another option is to use an app such as Product Labels & Badges. This will take a lot of the work out of it and make the process much faster. That being said, depending on the amount of products you plan to use this for, it could cost money. There is a free option however, for less than 50 products.

In the meantime, I tried to have a look at your store but it’s password protected. Are you able to share the password so I can provide some more tips? If not, make sure to check out the Launch Checklist for new stores. This will make sure you don’t miss any steps before the big launch!

I would like to address your concern. If you are looking for displaying multiple badges like coming soon, simple low-stock, sale, out-of-stock text badges, and Image-based Badges on your store, you can use the Prime Badges Labels & Stickers.
