I’m wanting to add a bulk variant by category because I have too many products to update manually or by CSV. Does anyone know of an app that can do this at all?

You can consider the Bulk Product Edit & CSV import app by Hextom. With its help, you can manually bulk edit prices, tags, inventory, titles, descriptions, vendors, product SKUsor import CSV and Excel files. It is also possible to schedule bulk edit tasks to run on any future date and time, or on a daily/weekly basis. And if you want to go back, there is the option to undo any changes and revert back to the pre-edited state.
