Hi I want to add custom product recommendations on the product page based on product tags. I am okay with displaying a custom collection also as both will serve the same purpose. Every product on our store will have custom recommended products which we are okay to manually put in.
We are using Boost theme.
Any help will be appreciated.

As mentioned by @SagarikaDas , you could follow the steps from that help doc to set up recommendations based on product tags on your store via the code.
If you’re not comfortable changing the code yourself, an option for you would be to contact a Shopify Expert. Experts are people who work externally to Shopify and charge their rates based on the work that they do. They can implement this for you by making those code changes, as well as anything else you might have in mind.
Alternatively, you could look into a third party app that comes with this function already. An example of one that allows you to set up recommendations based on product tags is Personalized Recommendations. Have you looked into this before?
