How can I add estimated delivery times on the checkout page?

Hi All,

Wondering if you can help me. I’ve built my store using the Debutify theme. Howoever, I can’t figure out how to add estimated delivery times to the checkout page?

All options I see are to add estimated delivery times on the product page or for customers to choose their nominated delivery date at checkout.

I want none of these. I just want customers to be able to see their rough delivery time when they go to checkout.

Can anyone help me with this?

Hi @Hizzle

There is a workaround for you is to add the message at checkout to your customers by editing your theme languages.

  • From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes > Actions > Edit Languages
  • Enter "Checkout shipping" on the search field at the top or click on the Checkout and system title, scroll down and look for the Checkout shipping section.
  • You’ll be presented with all fields where you can remove, and add new content to display messages on the checkout page.

Great question!

That is an excellent suggestion provided in the thread. However, if your products have different shipping times, you could look into an app called Estimated Order Delivery Date.

It allows you to show the expected delivery date & time on the product, Add to Cart and Checkout pages. It also displays delivery information such as date, time and country flag.

I would suggest including estimated delivery times on the product page as well. From a buyer’s perspective, I personally prefer to see estimated delivery times early in the process of shopping.

You want to set expectations with customers so they know when to expect the arrival of their order. This simple trick improves customers’ experience and boosts your conversion rate.
