My website’s shipping charges are INR 75 per kg. If products added to cart exceed 1 kg. shipping rate should be displayed in multiples as per kg. Example. products weighing 2 kg - shipping rate should be displayed as INR 150. I have selected option of weight based shipping and also added weight details to each product. Yet, shipping is only displaying INR 75 for products weighing 3 kg.
Please advise how to get shipping rates in multiples according to product weight.

I understand you are having issues with your Shipping Rates. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to provide support for shipping errors without seeing your current set up.
Are you using Shipping Profiles or any apps? If you could kindly provide a screenshot of your shipping rates while blocking out any sensitive account information that would be fantastic! This will allow us to see if there are any issues.

Shopify doesn’t support incremental rates natively. So you cannot set per kg weight. But what you can do is set range based weights.
When you add a new rate, you will see an option to add condition. What you want to do essentially is create conditions like
weight: 0kg to 1kg, rate Rs. 75
weight: 1kg to 2kg, rate Rs. 150
weight: 2kg to 3kg, rate Rs. 225
and so on…
For more granular control, you would need to install an app like ShipMagic.
