I have installed Shopify Inbox to my store (www.youvibewevibe.com). In ‘My contact information’ on Store details I have already updated what the customer will see when I respond to their email (sales@youvibewevibe.com) but I want to update what the customers will see when I respond to their messages on Shopify Inbox. Currently they are seeing my personal email address. See attached screenshot.
Thank you for sharing the screenshot for us to see what you are referring to.
It actually looks like what you are seeing is the CUSTOMER profile, connected to that email address in your store admin. If you were to reply to that message from within the Shopify Inbox app, you would see that the merchant response does not show an email.
Do you have your chat setup so that the customer needs to enter their name/email before sending their message? If yes, that is where the provided email is being pulled from.
