I’m trying to work out if/how I can identify all our customers who have bought products from a specific category of products so I can create an email campaign pushing other items in that category as part of a flash sale.
Is this possible?

If you want to identify all your customers who bought products from a specific category of products, you can follow these steps:

From your Shopify admin, go to Analytics → Dashboards → Look for Top products by units sold → View report

Select Date Range you want to filter, it will show all the products you have sold at that time.

Click on the product name you want to analyze.

Click Edit Columns → Customer → Select the information of the customer you want ( Customer email, Customer name…) so you can see all the customers who have bought this product at a determined period of time.
You also can export them into the Excel file to analyze easier.
