How can I create backend wholesale orders with custom pricing and shipping?

I see a wide array of wholesale and B2B app solutions but none of them quite fit the scenario I’m searching for.

  1. We only need the ability to create wholesale orders in the backend, the frontend can remain retail only.
  2. We need the ability to set per product pricing that is reflected in customs forms and invoices would be nice as well. (not just a discount shown at the bottom)
  3. We need the ability to set shipping weights per box and get accurate shipping live rates with UPS/USPS BEFORE processing payment.

The default draft orders is very close to fulfilling our B2B needs but just falls short in these 2 areas. Is there a reasonably priced app that can fill these gaps?

I’m now realizing I actually can set per product pricing in draft orders, so that’s 1 step down. The only issue I’m trying to figure out now is how I can get accurate live shipping rates based on weight and box size BEFORE processing/charging the order.

Many (or all) of our draft orders require multiple boxes of varying sizes, and the default calculated rates based on a single box are not accurate.

Following up, changing the price in draft orders is unfortunately not reflected in customs paperwork, so back to square one.

Hi @LW235
Not entirely sure if this is what you’re after, but with Draft Order Edit, you can have custom pricing on ANY product (or variant) inside your draft order (without needing discounts etc). This means you can make ANY product cheaper or more expensive, depending on the unique order requirements.

Hi @LW235 , by “changing price” you mean you added discount for the line item in draft order? The discount is shown with the original price, as opposed to the modified price?

If you would like to change the price of line item directly in draft order, I think my app can help! My app is Draftable - Draft Order Helper , you can change the item price in the app (which will be reflected in the invoice and such) , here is a video demo : Demo of overriding line item price

The app has a free plan which you can give it a try and see if it fits your existing workflow. Hope this helps!
