Hi everyone,
I have an idea to make customizable bundles at our shop, but i have no idea how to make it correctly, maybe there are some solutions for that?
Example -
We have 4 types of products- type1, type2, type3 and type4
In each type/category we have about 20-30 products
We want to offer customers bundles which will include products from all 4 types (customer can choose product in each type by himself), and total price of bundle will be 10% less than if customer will buy each product separately.
Is it possible to make one product card with 4 options and 10-20 variants in each (products), but when customer go to checkout, he will see 4 separate products, and those 4 products will be reserved in our stock automatically.
Thanks.
I’ve been struggling to find a way to do this without an app for a long time without an APP there are tons of bundling apps that let you do variations of this. If you don’t want to use an APP you could create a collection page that explains your deal and has your 4 types of products in it so your customer can add them to their cart and do the discount by making an automatic “product discount” for the collection of 10% with a minimum purchase quantity of 4.
You cant have a product with enough variants to do it as a single product in shopify.
Hi @AleksejsLalins
This is Jun from Bundle Kit.
You may want to consider using our app. Bundle Kit bundles are built on top of normal Shopify products and Shopify supports up to 3 variant options and 100 variants per product.
If possible, we would suggest splitting your bundle into multiple smaller bundles, segmented by e.g. your customer demographic or marketing theme. For example, ‘Bundle Classic for X’, ‘Bundle Premium for Y’ etc.
To achieve this, you would first need to create a dummy bundle product in Shopify.
Under ‘Options’, you can do the following:
Option name 1: Type 1
Option values: all variations
Option name 2: Type 2
Option values: all variations
Option name 3: Type 3
Option values: all variations
Using our app, convert this into a bundle. We have step-by-step instructions here: https://help.bundlekit.io/creating-a-mix-match-bundle
You can also set the bundle price. Here’s an article: https://help.bundlekit.io/overriding-bundle-price
The bundle items are added to the (bundle) order and not to the cart.
Let us know if you have any questions.
