Depending on who created the theme you’re using, how you can get theme support would vary slightly.
In the case of themes created here at Shopify, we advise against and do not support reducing whitespace in our themes.
White space like this helps to increase comprehension among visitors to your site.
It emphasises call to action buttons and key information on your store, as well as letting visitors breathe and appreciate the site being well laid out.

In the case of a third-party theme, you can consult the developers of your theme to see what they can provide in terms of theme support, or you can look into hiring a Shopify Expert for theme customisation.
