So I’m trying to add the Google Adsense Ads.txt file into Shopify. My issue is that I can’t find where to generate/download the Ads.txt file on Adsense. All of the tutorials teach you how to upload the file but I simply haven’t even been able to download the Ads.txt file from Adsense. See the attached screenshot that shows no way to download the ads.txt file.

Here’s how you can do it:
Log in to your Shopify account and go to the Online Store section.
Click on the Themes option and then click on the Actions button next to your current theme.
Select Edit Code from the drop-down menu.
In the left-hand menu, click on the “Templates” folder and then click on “Add a new template”.
In the pop-up window, select a template to create: robots.txt
Copy and paste the following code into the robots.txt at the bottom::
google.com, pub-0000000000000000, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0
Replace “pub-0000000000000000” with your unique AdSense publisher ID.
Save the file and you’re done!
It may take a few days for the changes to take effect, but once they do, your AdSense ads should start displaying correctly.
So Robot.txt is the same a Ads.txt file?
I believe Adsense requires the Ads.txt
