How can I fix a sticky footer issue on my Dawn theme?

Hello,

I have a problem with shopify footer. It does not want to stick to the bottom of the page. For example when I add shirt to the shopping cart it looks normal, because the footer is below the content and you need to scrool to see it, but as soon as i remove the shirt the footer just sticks to the your cart is empty message. This happens on every page where the content of the page does not go under the monitor size. Also happens on mobile.

Is there any way to fix it?

I am using the Dawn theme.

Did you ever find a fix for this?

Hello, no I did not, but I found out how to change the background color of the site so there wasn’t the big white space under it.

Go to the Theme customization → Theme settings → Colors → Scheme 1

Then change the background color and assign the Scheme 1 to everything you have on your site. Or you don’t need to use it everywhere but this worked for me. I guess because there isn’t any button or settings for the overall page so it gets Scheme 1 assigned to automatically.
