Hi Guys I hope someone can help with our store. The logo on desktop view seems very low quality. The file used is a 1500x232 png file. Can this be fixed?
Hey @Hiltonfrost .
Thanks for reaching out.
Are you still experiencing issues with your logo displaying low quality on your online store? The reason I am asking this is because I looked at the URL that you have provided to see that the logo for the store is displaying clearly.
I took a screenshot of the logo to show you how it is displayed on my side:
The recommended logo size for all Shopify themes is 512 x 512 px. I would suggest if you are seeing the logo appear at a lower quality to try to resize the image and add it back to your online store using the Theme Editor.
Looking forward to your response, let me know what you think.
Hi Ollie
Thanks for your response. I’m looking on a 24" monitor with resolution 1920x1080 and I can see the logo is low resolution. I have zoomed in to make it easier to show. Look at the difference between the logo and the menu buttons. To me it seems the theme is downsclaing the logo to 200x31pixel AVIF file?
Hey @Hiltonfrost .
Thanks for the quick response.
I appreciate the screenshot that you have shared and clarification.
By any chance, would you be able to resize the logo image file to our recommended size of 450 x 250 px?
The theme may downscale the image if it detects that the image size is too big, by reducing the size of the image this should boost the quality of the image.
Let me know if that does the trick.
