How can I increase the product limit in collection filters?

Hi all,

I’m trying to figure out why my store is not showing the filters for price range on large collections. From what I understand there’s a limit to how many products can be included in filters, and that the filters are disabled if it goes over that amount.

I played around with my collections and that does seem to be the case - if I reduce the number of products in an automated collection then the filters show up eventually.

Where in the theme code can I change this limit? I know there are performance problems but my client wants this regardless. I am just not sure what file to edit.
